Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)
Wage: $21.00 per hour, for 37.5 to 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley as per company contracts.
Job Duties:
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Mix, pour and spread materials
- Assist heavy equipment operators
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
- Level earth to fine grade specifications
- Assist in demolishing buildings
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Job Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Experience: Experience an asset
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads
